What is Cinux
Cinux is a from scratch designed, built and packaged operating system. It runs on top of the Linux kernel providing a secure, intuitive and full of capabilities workspace. It's user will enjoy a whole new but, familiar desktop experience.
It's user interface is based on GNOME 2.30.2 and is called CGI, offering a task bar on the top of the screen, containing a menu, a window list, a system clock and a desktop switcher, and an application bar on the bottom of the screen while offering, in total, a minimal environment that does not frustrate the user. Cinux is designed to be a specialized Operating System on which everybody regardless of their profession can rely on.
Cinux works on any computer out there and with your favorite apps! And that because Cinux is binary compatible with Debian, even though it's not based on it! It also supports multiple architectures such as thex86, the ARM and the MIPS platforms.
